I asked Mommies to be, New Moms, Experienced Moms, Young moms and Older moms what they wanted as a Mother’s day gift. They all agreed with one thing– They want pampering, they want a moment to themselves, a stress free day with the family, or some “ME time” – whether it is at a spa or at home with a mask on their face, a glass of wine, and a good book. Yes, jewelry, purses, and shoes were some of the coveted gifts, but nothing was as obvious as – "I need some time for myself"!
I gather some ideas for you to make Mom feel special and “nurtured” in the most eco-way possible:
1.-Uhma Spa was awarded Allure’s Magazine Best of the Best spa in Miami for their Sabai massage which means “state of bliss” in Thai. Would I send your mom to a crappy joint? No, only the best for Mom. Uhma is an urban sanctuary with a non-toxic and eco-friendly environment that only uses organic products in all their treatments. Book the Sabai massage for 1 ½ of pure delight or a facial, body scrubs/wrap, or even an acupuncture treatment. Sounds like an utopian place, ah? Paradise Farms is the ideal place for Brunch for the whole family –even little ones. This magical oasis feels a world away from the city's hustle and bustle.
